Role Overview:
As a Senior SAP Associate Consultant – MM (Sourcing & Procurement), you will be responsible for supporting and delivering SAP S/4HANA MM solutions across sourcing and procurement processes. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementation, configuration, and support of SAP MM functionalities, contributing to digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Support: Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA MM implementation and rollout projects, focusing on sourcing and procurement processes.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to understand procurement needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- System Configuration: Configure SAP MM modules including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor master data, pricing procedures, and inventory management.
- Testing & Deployment: Define and execute test scenarios, support integration testing, and assist during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Documentation: Prepare functional design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Cross-Module Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as SD, FICO, and WM.
- Post-Go-Live Support: Provide support for issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to provide functional expertise, resolve issues, and deliver value-added solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
In addition to having successfully completed at least 2 full lifecycle SAP MM projects, the ideal candidate will have:
- Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM (Sourcing & Procurement).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM configuration, especially in procurement processes.
- Methodologies: Experience with SAP Activate Methodology and/or Solution Manager.
- Certifications: Formal MM training and/or certification is a plus.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with supply chain and procurement business models.
- Additional Skills: ABAP debugging knowledge is a plus; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Support Experience: Worked in onsite/offshore support environments with understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and SLA processes.
- Cross-Functional Knowledge: Exposure to SAP PP / QM / SD / PS is a plus.
- Communication: Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels within client organizations.
- Project Management: Experience with project coordination or management is a plus.
