SAP HCM & Payroll Consultant

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Development Lead & Scrum Master with a robust background in SAP-related business analytics. This hybrid role demands a professional who can spearhead SAP development efforts, manage Agile teams, and perform comprehensive business analysis to foster product innovation and improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background in SAP, exceptional leadership abilities, a profound understanding of Agile methodologies, and the capability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Objectives:

  1. Hands on SAP HR (all core modules – Payroll, OM, PA, TIME, PD, etc.)
  2. Ensure legal compliance of the Payroll solution.
  3. Review & validate all legal requirements for Customers based on Payroll Country.
  4. Should have worked on UAE Payroll , knowledge on other GCC Payrolls will be advantage.
  5. Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  6. Analyze and evaluate payroll processes and to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Design, configure, and customize SAP Payroll module to meet business requirements (Including testing and UAT Support)
  8. Stay updated with SAP Payroll module functionality, new releases, and industry best practices.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP Payroll with other modules, such as SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central / HR , finance, and time management.
  10. Participate in payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues, investigating root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  12. Work effectively with local experts as well as with the business community
  13. The HR consultant is expected to help with development aspects relating to Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Personnel Relations, Recruitment, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Contractor Activity Timesheets (CATS), Personnel Development, Learning & Development, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits etc.
  14. Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects
  15. Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients
  16. Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
  17. Configure the product in line with customer requirements, demo iteration configurations to customer and help customer complete iteration testing and UAT.
  18. Handle critical customer issues/escalations of different regions, conduct root cause analysis to provide solution with high efficiency
  19. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central specific solution consulting knowledge is added advantage.

Description:

  1. To architect the solution design in the SAP Payroll area UAE Payroll is Mandatory & knowledge on other GCC Payrolls will be advantage.
  2. Analyze and evaluate payroll processes and to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Design, configure, and customize SAP Payroll module to meet business requirements (Including testing and UAT Support)
  4. Proven experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant or similar role.
  5. In-depth knowledge of SAP Payroll module, including configuration, schema, and rules.
  6. Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  7. Proficient in SAP Payroll configuration tools, such as the Payroll Control Center (PCC), Wage Types, and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCR).
  8. Experience in implementing and supporting SAP Payroll solutions, including end-to-end project lifecycle.
  9. Should have worked on integrations with SAP Employee Central , knowledge on developing solutions between SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.
  10. Clarify processes to end users and business stakeholders as required.
  11. Provide guidance on technical feasibility and appropriateness of proposed solutions when alternative solutions are available
  12. Work with HR data owners to fix data issues or to re-assign responsibilities

  30. Able to take an issue, then plan and deliver a solution using own initiative, with little guidance
  31. Identifies and escalates issues and risks within project structure

Qualifications:

  1. 4 to 7 years of SAP HCM Payroll experience.
  2. Minimum 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP HCM Payroll
  3. Working experience on UAE Payroll
  4. Working experience on GCC payroll will be considered an asset.
  5. Working experience with SAP SuccessFactors will be considered an asset.
  6. SAP HR or Success Factors Certification is an added advantage
    • SAP Certified Application Associate – Employee Central Payroll
    • SAP Certified Application Associate – Employee Central
    • SAP Certified Application Associate – Compensation.
  7. Master’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field preferred.
  8. Preference would be someone who came from traditional HR function and migrated to SAP.
