Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP B1 – Technical Consultant / Add-on Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of SAP B1 add-ons and customizations to meet business requirements. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and functional consultants to gather requirements for custom add-ons and enhancements.
2. Design technical solutions and create detailed technical specifications for SAP Business One add-ons.
3. Integrate third-party applications using APIs and the SAP Business One Service Layer.
4. Develop custom functionalities, crystal reports, and extensions using SAP Business One SDK, SQL queries, and other relevant technologies.
5. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed add-ons.
6. Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users for newly developed add-ons.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom add-ons and existing SAP Business One functionalities.
8. Keep up to date with the latest SAP Business One SDK features, patches, and updates.
9. Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
10. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP Business One add-on development or a similar role.
2. Proficiency in SAP Business One SDK, including development of User Defined Objects (UDO), User Defined Fields (UDF), and User Defined Tables (UDT).
3. Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, VB.NET, or similar.
4. Experience with SAP Business One integration technologies (DI-API, B1WS, B1IF) is preferred.
5. Knowledge of SAP Business One functional modules and business processes.
6. Experience with SAP HANA, including developing and optimizing solutions on the SAP HANA platform.
7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
9. Experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies is a plus.
10. SAP Business One certification in development will be preferred.
