Role Overview:

As a QA Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the testing of ERP and Non‑ERP enterprise applications, custom-built solutions, cloud platforms, and system integrations. You will execute test cases, validate end‑to‑end business processes, track defects, and ensure applications meet quality standards for performance, stability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing Execution: Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing based on defined test plans.
2. Requirement Analysis: Analyze business and functional requirements to design and prepare detailed test cases and relevant test data.
3. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools.
4. Validation: Validate fixes and conduct re‑testing to ensure seamless execution of end‑to‑end business workflows.
5. UAT Support: Assist in User Acceptance Testing and collaborate with development and functional teams.
6. Documentation: Maintain structured and accurate test documentation in line with QA processes and standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

1. Experience: 0–2 years of hands‑on experience in QA/testing (internship experience considered).
2. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3. Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, test case design techniques, and defect lifecycle.
4. Exposure to testing types: Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and UAT.
5. Basic working knowledge of tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
6. Basic exposure to automation tools (added advantage): Selenium, Playwright, TestNG.
7. Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
8. Basic understanding of ERP applications such as SAP (preferred).
9. Proficiency in preparing test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation.
10. Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Office, and cloud/web-based applications.
11. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
12. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
13. Ability to work collaboratively in team‑oriented and hybrid environments.
